THE ART OF THINKING ORIGINS

WHERE DID IT ALL BEGIN – The Art of Thinking.

Since 2017, our live Art of Thinking events united ideological and cultural opposites to replace hostility with understanding. Through empathy, clarity, and courage, we’ve proven that adversaries aren’t enemies, just people seeing the world differently.

Alarmed by growing online tribalism, philosopher Dr. Greg Scorzo and creative director Lizzie Soden launched The Art of Thinking — a live event series that brought adversaries together to talk, not attack.

Over 70 events across the UK explored polarising topics  and universal themes – from Brexit to free speech through open, often irreverent philosophical discussion, facilitated by Greg Scorzo, and visually interpreted with Lizzie Soden’s visuals.

The goal was simple: help people understand their supposed enemies, not demonise them.

Using empathy, clarity, and courage, these gatherings showed that differing perspectives don’t make people evil, they make us human.

When the pandemic halted in-person dialogue, we asked:

Could AI help scale this kind of understanding globally?

That question became Art of Thinking AI (AOT.Ai) — our evolution from human dialogue to human-aware AI.
